DIFFERENT TYPE OF JACKFRUIT PAPADS

We offer two types of jackfruit papads, plain & masala.

Plain Jackfruit Papad: 
Plain jackfruit papad is prepared by grinding raw jackfurit with a little salt. No additional spices or preservatives are added.

Masala Jackfruit Papad:
Masala jackfruit papad is prepared by grinding raw jackfruit with a little salt and right amount so spices. No preservatives are added.

NATURAL & FAIR PRICE JACKFRUIT PAPADS

Our jackfruit papads are prepared using naturally grown raw jackfruits around Honavar region of Karnataka. Jackfruit plants in the region are more of a wild crop, without manual intervention with fertilisers and pestisides. The jackfruit papad making units are small in scale, mostly employ the locals - especially the women. We believe in paying a fair price for the procurement and sharing the same for transperancy.

Procurement Price at Jackfruit Papad Making Unit in Honavar:
Rs.115 per 25 pieces of plain jackfruit papad i.e. approximately 77% of the cost.
Rs.120 per 20 pieces of masala jackfruit papad i.e. approximately 80% of the cost.

Packaging by FSSAI Licensed Partner, Warehousing, Payment Processing, Shipment Handling: 
Rs.30 per 25 pieces of plain jackfruit papad i.e. approximately 20% of the cost.
Rs.25 per 20 pieces of masala jackfruit papad i.e. approximately 17% of the cost.

Areca County's Markup:
Rs.5 per 25 pieces of plain jackfruit papad i.e. approximately 3% of the cost.
Rs.5 per 20 pieces of masala jackfruit papad i.e. approximately 3% of the cost.

JACKFRUIT PAPAD PRICE COMPARISON

Our jackfruit papads prices are pretty compitative compared to other jackfruit papads in the market:

• Homemade Plain Jackfruit Papad on Amazon is priced at Rs.180 per 10 pieces i.e. Rs.360 per 20 pieces. Price was checked manually as on 22nd May 2024.
• Our jackfruit papad price is approximately 58% lesser in price compared to the product on Amazon.

Fried jackfruit papads are served for lunch & dinner at Areca County Homestay in Honavar  and many guests want to take it home as well.
Jackfruit papad is a seasonal product and we sell jackfruit papads with very low markups, so that our customers can savour the taste at their homes.
